A series within Portraits of No Body, exploring identity, memory, and belonging through the symbolic language of ceremonial clothing. Created as bodyless garments, the sculptures suggest presence through absence, inviting viewers to imagine the lives, rituals, and emotions they once held.
The wedding dress, often seen as a symbol of union, expectation, and transformation, becomes a vessel for personal histories and collective memory. Wheel-thrown and hand-sculpted, each piece balances the precision of functional ceramics with the expressive qualities of sculpture, creating forms that exist between object, garment, and memory.
