A ceramic sculpture exploring the connection between fabric and body, movement and containment. The wrapping fabric suggests a gentle embrace yet also concealment. Its spiraling lines create a sense of motion frozen in time, like a memory embedded in material.
The curved bustline and flowing folds add softness and mystery. The muted tones and weathered texture evoke an object preserved over time, a dress left behind as a silent testament to its wearer.
As in my other works, the missing human figure invites interpretation. Does this dress hold a memory? A relic of a vanished presence? Or a vessel waiting to be filled? “Wrapped Dress” explores motion in stillness, body within material, and the lingering presence clothing retains.
